SCHOCK North America Unveils Vintage, the Latest
Addition to its CRISTADUR® Color Technology
The German manufacturer of granite composite sinks to showcase the
dramatic new color trend at the 2015 Architectural Digest Home Design Show
(Levittown, PA, March 3, 2015) Since establishing its presence in North America in 2014,
SCHOCK is further expanding on its high-performance premium materials selection from
the company’s CRISTADUR® color technology for granite composite sinks with Vintage.
The distinctive new color treatment design will debut at the Architectural Digest Home
Design Show in New York City from March 19 through 22. The company developed the
Vintage concept and process to augment its palette of warm earth tones.
The antique look features copper, rose, and gold flecks burnished
throughout the sink, with a concentration on the outer edges.
“The newly developed technology by SCHOCK displays
a shimmering patina reminiscent of a beautifully aged
brown leather jacket,” states Ken Fey, president
and CEO of SCHOCK North America. “R&D is
at the heart of Schock. It is our single most vital
element as a leader in the manufacture of granite
composite sinks. Recent innovations, such as
Vintage, bring a new level of color choice to
design professionals and consumers looking
for a warm and elegant sink to accent their
countertops, cabinets, and appliances.”

including double equal bowl, double offset bowl, and large single bowl sinks. “The
Architectural Digest Home Design Show is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase this
exciting new color trend to discerning designers and consumers,” says Fey, who explains
Vintage joins seven colors currently available for nine distinct sink models in SCHOCK’s
CRISTADUR premium material family. CRISTADUR technology was specifically developed
to handle the demands of the kitchen, making it extremely easy to clean and food safe,
with the company’s proprietary ProHygienic 21 non-porous finish.
SCHOCK, the original inventor of the granite composite sink, holds over ninety patents,
according to Fey. In addition to granite sinks, the company offers faucets and accessories
to enhance the distinctive design and function of SCHOCK sinks. The US launch of
SCHOCK introduced twelve sink models, which are now available in fifteen colors,
including the new Vintage hue, and two materials—CRISTADUR and CRISTALITE+ ®.
“Our vision of design perfection, coupled with the latest color trends, such as our new
Vintage concept and precision craftsmanship is resonating with the American consumer
and designers on a large scale,” says Fey.
